detail-oriented Project Accountant for a New Berlin, Wisconsin area
organization. In this role, you will play a vital part in
overseeing financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with contracts and company policies. The ideal candidate
will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage
multiple tasks efficiently within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities: • Prepare and process project billing, ensuring
accuracy and alignment with service contracts. • Manage accounts
payable functions, including vendor and supplier payments. • Review
and maintain service, vendor, and supplier contracts to ensure
compliance with terms. • Collaborate with payroll teams to oversee
project-specific payroll activities. • Monitor and track project
budgets, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders. •
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and project
forecasts. • Ensure all financial records are maintained in
accordance with company policies and industry standards. • Identify
and resolve discrepancies in project accounts and recommend
improvements to processes. • Work closely with project managers to
provide financial insights and support. • Maintain effective
communication with vendors and suppliers regarding contract terms
and payments. • Proven experience in billing and accounts payable
processes. • Familiarity with service, vendor, and supplier
contract management. • Strong understanding of payroll functions
within a project-based environment. • Ability to analyze financial
data and create accurate reports. • Exceptional organizational and
time management skills. • Proficiency in accounting software and
Microsoft Office Suite. • Knowledge of construction industry
practices and financial standards. • Excellent communication
skills, both written and verbal.
