Employment TypeFull timeShiftDay ShiftDescriptionThe Community Hospice has an exciting opportunity for an RN to work as a member of the Education/Quality team at the Albany hospice office. The Education/Quality RN works as part of a team to support our field clinicians through education, assists with coding, and other quality duties as assigned. This position is exempt, working 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday) - schedule is primarily days but may require an occasional evening or weekend educational session with our colleagues.Organization Highlights

• Work/Life: Positions and shifts to accommodate all schedulesWhat You Will DoIn conjunction with the Hospice leadership team, you will develop and have oversight of clinical, quality and educational programs and activities.Responsibilities
  • In conjunction with Hospice Education team, you will design, implement, and provide training to Hospice team members..
  • Facilitate clinical activities for all colleagues including orientation, EMR training and documentation, Pharmacy benefit manager training and assistance, policies, procedures, competency validation, and mandatory education.
  • In addition this position will perform chart audits, review bills, and assist with coding to maintain compliance.What You Will Need
    • NYS RN Licensure
    • Bachelor's degree in a health related field required, Master's Degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 yrs RN experience required
    • Strong communication skills and ability to prepare and present materials to a group.
    • Previous hospice and/or educational experience a plus!Hospice provides a very robust orientation program and is willing to train the right candidate!Please apply for more informationPay Range: $38.70-$52.10 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
