This hands-on role involves assembly, machine operation, and quality-focused tasks in a sustainability-driven company committed to environmentally responsible manufacturing. Responsibilities Assemble product components according to specifications and work instructions. Measure with a tape measure using the metric system. Use a micrometer to ensure product diameter is correct. Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support safety and productivity. Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes. Essential Skills Ability to read a tape measure. Attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to use hand and power tools. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Manufacturing experience is not required, but strong mechanical aptitude or experience in construction, building maintenance, or automotive maintenance is beneficial. Ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or machinery. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton Park, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
