Job Description Kaman Measuring & Memory is seeking an Assembler
Technician who is responsible for performing a variety of
electronic and mechanical assembly operations in support of
manufacturing programs. Working under the direct supervision of the
Group Leader, this role follows detailed work instructions,
drawings, and procedures to ensure product quality, functionality,
and compliance with company and customer requirements. About Kaman
Measuring & Memory delivers advanced non-contact displacement
sensing systems that support aerospace, industrial automation,
energy, and research applications. Our precision measurement
solutions help customers achieve tighter control, higher
efficiency, and improved system performance. We value technical

and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: /n - Perform
general assembly operations, including printed wire board assembly,
conformal coating, potting, ultrasonic cleaning, coil winding,
crimping, wire stripping, soldering, evac & backfill, component
forming, and painting, as required by program or process. /n -
Assist with in-process testing using LCR meters and multi-meters.
/n - Serialize sensors and label electronic components to support
sales order traceability requirements. /n - Work from assembly
drawings, routing sheets, verbal instructions, written process
descriptions, and visual work instructions to ensure quality and
product functionality. /n - Maintain required ESD and soldering
certifications (IPC J-STD-001). /n - Document and record test
results, completed work, and any rework activities accurately. /n -
Assist in identifying causes of component, subassembly, or system
failures and support rework activities under the direction of
Engineering and/or the Group Leader. /n - Provide feedback and
recommendations to Engineering regarding assembly process
improvements. /n - Support company quality initiatives, including
AS9100 and Statistical Process Control (SPC), and contribute to
continuous improvement efforts. /n - Assist in training and guiding
employees in various assembly operations as needed. /n - Remain
flexible and willing to work in different work cells based on
business needs. /n - Report unusual conditions, defects, or issues
to the supervisor promptly. /n /n Qualifications: Education: - High
School Diploma or equivalent /n Experience: - 0-1 year of related
assembly or manufacturing experience /n Skills & Abilities: /n -
Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet
applications /n - Ability to follow detailed instructions and work
in a quality-driven environment /n - Strong attention to detail and
documentation accuracy /n - Willingness to learn and maintain
