Summary:

VSolvit LLC is seeking Growth and Strategy (G&S) Director responsible for expending best efforts to grow the organization and help create, improve, and execute strategies to drive sustained growth of the business. The growth can be organic or inorganic, within the same customer segment or expansion into new customers, occur within existing technology expertise or outside of existing technology expertise, and could be driven by internal efforts or in collaboration with outside technology and service partners.

The G&S Director will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, oversee capture efforts and conduct prospect management. Responsible for leading identification of opportunities, coordinating preparations of proposals, planning, reviewing specifications, and assist with financial conditions of contracts. The G&S Director will be overseeing new business and product line expansion efforts, ensures adherence to master plans, pipelines, and schedules. Responsible for collaborating with organizational executives to maximize VSolvit s Best in Class GWACs through strategic partnerships with a broad range of companies.

The G&S Director must inspire the team, create a collaborative environment, and represent the corporate values. Will rely on extensive experience; decision making, planning, accomplishing goals, and performing a variety of complex tasks. The G&S Director will be measured by a specific set of business development metrics that ensure adherence to published company goals (e.g. Reach, Lead Conversion Rate, Pipeline Value, Lead Close Rate, and Revenue Targets.)

Responsibilities:

* Collaborating with management on annual strategic and revenue goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short-term (3 years) and long-term (5 years) business development plans

* Building relationships with external companies, partners through professional interaction and timely response

* Meeting all quotas as set through mutual agreement (RFPs bid, $$ Bid, $ won, etc.)

* Able to provide ideas and innovations to attract new clients and keep senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity, and retaining team members

* Lead, and manage team (build, train, or implement succession planning) to ensure sustainable support from the G&S team

* Build contacts with potential clients and business partners to create new business opportunities

* Keep prospective client and business partner, and pipeline database updated

* Make cold calls for new business leads

* Oversee the cross functional (Capture, Technical, and BD) efforts in writing new business proposals; contribute directly by working on high priority proposals as needed

* Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company

* Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences

* Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients and business partners

* Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of RFP etc. Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)

* Facilitate retrospective(s) as needed for monthly to ensure team members learn from previous efforts, continue what is working and change what is not working.

Specific Deliverables:

* Maintain Pipeline to support the growth needed, example: 10x annual revenue in our pipeline

* Work with capture managers to ensure their pipelines are properly managed and maintained per quarter

* Facilitate development of Pipeline 3-5-year plan including but not limited to our Top 10 customers, Top 10 Opportunities, and Top 5 partners

* Engage with our prot g companies and partners. Mentor prot g companies on forming their 3-5 year plan and maintaining connection for execution. Example: working with SoHUM BD leadership to project out their goals and strategies and focus on convergence areas of our plans and seek opportunities.

* Manage corporate strategic partnerships for pursuits (Microsoft, Palantir, etc.)

* Monitor Growth Performance and Take Corrective Actions as needed

* % of compliant proposals/bids submitted (this is not price based)

* Bid Submission Retrospective

* Bid Outcome and feedback loop to future bids

* Maximizing IDIQ vehicles, Leveraging Partnerships

* Win %

* Team metrics

* Proposal Managers

* Number of proposals submitted and compliant

* Adoption of Internal Processes

* Successful gate reviews on all tier 1 captures

* Win themes, and drafts done ahead of time.

* Successful management of reviews and resources.

* Development of off the shelf material that can be reused.

* Capture Team

* Number of Task order (contract vehicle level) triaged

* Number of opportunities identified and elevated to higher tier.

* Number of RFIs supported.

* The successful management of the corporate and capture manager pipelines.

* The successful execution of gate reviews on all tier 1 capture

* The identification of key opportunities



Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

* Associates degree Computer Science, Information Technology or related is desired but not required

* 5 plus years DoD and non-DoD federal proposal experience

* 5 plus years working with high volume proposal bids

* 5 plus years experience with lead generation and prospect/proposal management

* 5 plus years technology and solutions Program/Project Management

* 5 plus years experience leading teams to fulfill contract federal awards

* 5 plus years leading proposal and business development teams

* 4 plus years DoD Program Management

* 4 plus years experience working, or supporting; ARMY, NAVY, USMC, Air Force, Coast Guard, etc.

* 5 plus years experience with Office suites (Microsoft Office, G Suite), presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote), communication and collaboration tools, graphics and multimedia, and spreadsheets

* United States Citizenship required

* Ability to obtain Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance by working with the VSolvit Facility Security Officer is a condition of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related is desired but not required

* 10 plus years experience working, or supporting; ARMY, NAVY, USMC, Air Force, Coast Guard, etc.

* 10 plus years DoD and non-DoD federal proposal experience

* 8 plus years working with high volume proposal bids

* 8 plus years working with high volume proposal bids

* 8 plus years leading capture and business development team

* 8 plus years experience working, or supporting; ARMY, NAVY, USMC, Air Force, Coast Guard, etc.

* 8 plus years building business development and forecasting

* 7 plus years creating winning business strategy

* 7 plus years experience with lead generation and prospect/proposal management

* 7 plus years experience leading teams to fulfill contract federal awards

* 7 plus years leading proposal and business development teams

* 7 plus years DoD Program Management

* 7 plus years leading capture and business development team

* PMP or similar project management related certification

* United States Citizenship required

* Ability to obtain Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance by working with the VSolvit Facility Security Officer is a condition of employment
