Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manages a team of Process Operations personnel. Establishes
procedures and protocol to ensure efficient and optimum operation
of the SUNY Poly Center for Semiconductor Research. Work closely
with IBM, CNSE, and CNSE Client personnel to provide a highly
productive work environment. Conducts performance reviews, mentors,
disciplines, and helps develop a highly effective work force. A
significant portion of the work shift will be spent in the
Cleanroom, this is a direct "hands on" supervisory position. Other
reasonable duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
BS or equivalent experience in Management, Education, or Physical,
Chemical, or Biological sciences from a college or university
accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally
recognized accrediting organization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
At least 5 years supervisory / management experience.
Provide leadership, oversight and direction to direct reports to
assure goals, programs, activities, and personnel practices are
consistent with and contribute to the Institution's goals and
strategies. Design and implement operating strategies, plans and
procedures to assure smooth functioning of SUNY Poly's cleanroom
operations. Lead employees for maximum performance and dedication.
Complete performance management feedback and goals per
requirements.
