OverviewThe Opportunity PCGs Education Consulting service line
seeks a Permissions Manager to ensure that PCG secures the
necessary rights for third-party work that is included in the
content that we deliver to our clients. This role uses it expertise
in negotiations and licensing of permissions for compliance for
each project. The Permissions Manager will provide leadership by
establishing and documenting permissions standards to be used
across Education Consulting. This role will support project teams
by providing training as well as serving as a subject matter expert
answering questions and auditing project work. The permission
manager will research and identify a tool to manage PCG licensed
content to make it easily searchable to confirm we have the
necessary permissions and when any agreements may expire. This role
will provide on-going coaching and training to PCG staff and
contractors to ensure our deliverables comply with permissions
standards. The Permissions Manager is responsible for the overall
permissions compliance of client deliverables.This is a remote
role, with occasional in-person meetings. Some travel may be
required.About PCGs Education Consulting Service Line PCGs
Education Consulting Service Line works with states, districts, and
schools to address a wide spectrum of needs such as curriculum
development, instructional resources audits, design and
facilitation of professional development and professional learning
communities, school improvement, and program reviews.Project
engagements have included the development of the EngageNY grades
612 English Language Arts curriculum for the New York State
Education Department and the delivery of related implementation
services across several states; the design and delivery of a system
of a K3 professional learning program for the Connecticut State
Department of Education; and the creation of training and resources
to support standards implementation for the Florida Department of
Education. We recently collaborated with Chicago Public Schools
(IL) to develop a full-year, standards-aligned digital curriculum
for PK12 English Language Arts and mathematics and are providing
asynchronous and synchronous professional learning to teachers and
administrators to support implementation. Currently, we are also
developing a K5 ELA curriculum in partnership with Pinellas County
Schools (FL) to support their transition to the new Florida B.E.S.T
standards.ResponsibilitiesThe Role The Permissions Manager:
Responsible for securing permissions for content used within PCG
deliverables.Develops and maintains systems and processes to
facilitate securing the necessary rights for PCG to use third-party
work (text, artwork, music, or other material) in content that we
deliver to our clients.Leverages expertise in the negotiation and
licensing of permissions for the use of 3 rd party print and
electronic assets in curriculum, professional learning content, and
other client-facing materials, as needed.Provides functional
leadership to permissions editors and other related resources on a
variety of projects across the organizationEstablishes risk
management practices for ensuring permissions compliance on each
projectConfers closely with content and operations leadership to
understand contractual, instructional, and technical specifications
for each project and to develop the scope of permissions requests
accordingly.Facilitates data-sharing and/or data transfer to
clients as relates to permissions.Grows internal teams collective
understanding and ownership of permissions considerations and
needs.Liaisons with PCG in-house counsel, finance, and senior
management as appropriate to identify and mitigate
permissions-related risk.Ability to represent permissions needs
during RFP process to ensure proper staffing and timing is built
into proposals.Guide long-term document storage and data management
strategy related to permissions information.Advise on project
design, resourcing, and budget for new project opportunities as
relates to permissions and licensing needs.Identifies and
collaborates with strategic partners through which to source and/or
license assets, developing creative and cost-effective partnerships
alike.Manages subscriptions as necessary.Fulfills other
project-related duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Skills

Bachelors degree with 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience

Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors
including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role,
skill set, and level of experience.As required by applicable law,
PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for
this role:$80,700 - $113,500.In addition, PCG provides a range of
