For more information, visit https://www.conduent.com/Certified SCRUM MASTERPosition Overview The successful candidate for the Scrum Master role is a seasoned and credentialed professional highly adept in Scrum processes and methodology to enhance product delivery and meet and/or exceed customer expectations. This key purpose of this position is to lead our company through the development of a compelling, innovative product portfolio and roadmap to grow our business and provide a clear competitive advantage. The Scrum Master will be critical member of the Employer Legal and Compliance Solutions (CLCS) team responsible for guiding the development and integration of Agile/Scrum practices and values to optimize client satisfaction for the portfolio of services offered by CLCS. Working collaboratively with the Product Owners and Project Managers, the Scrum Master will guide the team through adherence of such principles to align with the product vision and milestones.Core ResponsibilitiesThe Scrum Master will facilitate and drive the development team to improve overallproductivity, monitor scrum processes and methodology and drive team for greater efficiency, motivation, and advocate for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness of product delivery; own r esponsibility for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in an Agile environment.Arrange and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, demos and participate in decision making process in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process.Work in collaboration with Product Owner to make the product backlogs in good shape andprepare them to reach milestones.The Scrum Master will guide the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels ofmaturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.Provide extensive support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible while always leading by example.Responsible to remove the impediments for the scrum team.Responsible to Conduct retrospective meetings.Organize and facilitate sprint planning meetingsAct as safeguard for his teamRequired CapabilitiesAbility to remove impediments or guide and lead the team to remove impediments by encouraging and/or facilitating cross collaboration with direct contributors to remove impediments.Ability to develop and foster an environment built on trust and safety where problems can be raised and addressed without fear of judgment and emphasis on remediation and problem-solving.Ability to communicate and encourage successful completion of tasks without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work; ability empower individual contributors while fostering collaboration and teamwork.Ability to facilitate productive discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Technical Skills:Advanced knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.Good skills to coach team how to follow agile scrum, which really works.Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.Knowledge of other Agile approaches, such as Kanban, Crystal, FDD, XP, etc.Knowledge of software development processes and procedures to apply to current team and projectsKnowledge of Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.Ability to take ownership and commitment to timely product delivery.Know about the value of metrics and incremental delivery.Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.Familiar with common development practices, Service oriented environments, and Agile practices.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fieldCurrent Certified Scrum Master (CSM)Proven working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment with a client focused service delivery model; preferably in a technology solutions environmentStrong working knowledge of the SDLC specifically Agile ProcessesExperience creating product plan strategies, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, pricing analysis, etc.Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organizationPreferredExperience with e-discovery, legal technology, compliance or highly regulated markets a huge plus.Experience with e-discovery technology platforms such as Relativity and other similar commercial platforms not required but a plus.
