We are working with CVPH-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburg, NY and Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, NY. Both facilities are looking for some temporary Gastroenterology coverage over the next several months. The details to these particular needs are below. Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital
Plattsburgh, NY
250 bed facility
14 bed ICU
Alice Hyde Medical Center
Malone, NY
These two facilities are need of temporary GI coverage ASAP ongoing
Inpatient and outpatient need
The physician would be working in the clinic at Alice Hyde Medical Center Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday each week
This would also include consults and procedures
Clinic hours are 8am-5pm
Patient volume: 1 patient every twenty minutes and 1 inpatient consult per day
No call during these days of the week
The physician would be working at CVPH every Wednesday taking 24 hour call
24 hour call would include rounds, consults, and procedures
Patient volume: 10 patients per day
Admissions are done by the Hospitalist team at both locations
Anesthesia is available at both facilities
Conscious Sedation would be preferred at CVPH
CVPH generally has an endo team available (nurses and techs)
Weekend call is TBD as of right now
4-6 weeks to privilege at both locations
$250 per hour with an 8 hour guarantee Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
$2000 per 24 hour call on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday
$300 per hour for any hour worked over the 8 hour guarantee or any hour worked in the facility while on a 24 hour call shift
