Physicians Assistant for Vascular Surgery opportunity in Saranac Lake, New York Located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains 75,000 person service area Position Details: Full-time, permanent opening Medical group is offering a full-time position for a physicians assistant to work alongside an Medical group Hospital fellowship-trained vascular surgeon who has been in practice since 1999. Responsibilities would include seeing patients in the office, care of hospitalized patients, and assisting in the operating room. Responsibilities might also include participating in the wound center. While the physician's assistant would be responsible for the service when the vascular surgeon is away, there would be no nighttime or weekend call. The Medical group Medical Center vascular service provides a broad spectrum of open and endovascular treatment of vascular disease. The operating room is fully equipped with a hybrid suite. New graduates from the physicians assistant program who have demonstrated aptitude in the surgical specialties are welcome to apply.
