Department/Unit:Diagnostic Radiology Work Shift:Day (United States of America) The Medical Imaging Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Facility. The Medical Imaging Technologist produces diagnostic images and provides a safe, positive experience for the patient. The Medical Imaging Technologist practices and enforces the radiation safety measures in the New York State Department of Health Code Part 16. The Medical Imaging Technologist supports teaching and continued learning as technology changes. Education - Associate of Applied Science Degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program Licensure, Certification & Registrations - New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists This position will rotate through the Main Department and South Clinical Campus.
