Department/Unit:Perioperative PRNWork Shift:Day (United States of America)The RN Educator must have OR experience for 3 years 5 years preferred. The position has a focus on training new graduate nurses and nurses that have experience elsewhere in the hospital. The position has no weekend or holiday commitment. CNOR preferred. MSN in education preferred. Works closely with the CNS of Perioperative Services.Salary Range: $71,547.00 - $118,053.00The Nur Educator uses the educational design process to close the knowledge, skills, and/or practice gaps identified through needs assessment and to impact evidence-based practice.Job Description:

• Contributes to the professional development of others and supports life-long learning as individuals transition across learning/practice environments, and professional roles.
• Applies a systematic process to shift individuals, teams, and organizations from current state to desired state and close performance gaps.
