States of America)730am-4pmJob Description SummaryCurrent NYS RN
License. Experience in a surgical practice preferred. Must have at
least three to five years' clinical experience or equivalent
combination of education, training. CPR/ BLS certifications are
required.RESPONSIBILITIES--- Provides and assists physician(s) with
triage of patients.--- Provides initial patient assessment and
ensure that patient information is available in the electronic
health record (EHR) for physicians.--- Performs and/or assists
physicians with examinations, procedures, and orders as
required.--- Collects lab specimens and submits them for
processing, as required. --- Follows-up on all labs as required.---
Follow up on patients after procedures. --- Maintains and monitors
approved standards of practice to ensure that regular and special
procedures are in a safe and competent manner.--- Facilitates and
coordinates patient and family education regarding care and
treatment programs, health choices, and other factors to ensure
compliance with treatment programs and/or prevent illness or
injury.--- Ensure quality initiatives and process improvements are
compliant.--- Keep up on and complete all CLIA/Joint Commission;
weekly monthly regulations --- Complete yearly modules and AMC
competencies--- Complete daily logs, example: all Joint commission
regulationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES--- Strong problem
solving skills--- Quality and risk management
knowledge/experience--- Ability to work independently--- Strong
health assessment and clinical management skills--- Advanced
knowledge of the Nursing Process--- Broad knowledge of program
