Weekly Pay Range - $2316 To $2573 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Post Cardiothoracic Surgery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift (19:00-07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required Must-Have: Epic experience Job Description: - Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgery. - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. - Educate patients and families about postoperative care and recovery processes. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records. - Participate in unit meetings and continuous education opportunities to maintain clinical competence. - Adhere to infection control procedures and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients. Additional Information: - Position may require floating to other units as needed. - Flexible with reviewing clinicians with pending state licenses.
