hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Beds: 341 total; ED Unit
– 29 ED beds, 4 Behavioral Health, 7 Fast Track (all
flexible)/nTrauma Level: Level 3/nTeaching Facility:
No/n/nExperience Required: /nMinimum 1 year clinical and specialty
experience/nCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (required), NIHSS
(prior to start)/nLicensing: NY RN license or proof of application
(NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks)/nShift: Rotating; 7a-7p, 7p-7a,
11a-11p, 3p-3:30a; no blocked schedules; weekends/holidays
required; no call/n/nNurse-Patient Ratio: /nTypically 1:5,
sometimes higher; must handle busy, high-volume ED/nAncillary
Staff: CNA/PCT (varied shifts), Unit clerk, Crisis clinician,
Advanced practice providers (8a-11p)/nOrientation: 20-24 hours
depending on contract length/nDress Code: Navy blue/white scrubs,
closed-toe shoes, no artificial nails/nSystems: EPIC documentation
(recent experience required), Pyxis medication system/nEquipment:
Phillips MP40 monitors, Alaris IV pumps; respiratory and anesthesia
support 24/7/nUnit Procedures: Nurses manage drips, IV starts,
EKGs, respiratory treatments; manage boarded psych, COVID, and
other patients/nOther: Zero tolerance for cell phone/earbuds on
shift; reliable transportation required (no public
transport)/nTravel Rate: $110/hr; radius/local rates
available/nComments: Prior travel and charge experience preferred;
