Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years CT Experience required License: Current NY State Rad Tech License Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: EPIC EMR Experience required Description: COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged, but not required. Candidates must have EPIC experience. This is required for submission to prevent any delays. Agencies must include the New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate. This license is required by the state of New York for staffing temporary needs. Questions on this requirement should be directed to the state's health department website. Candidates cannot be considered without the necessary license uploaded with their profile. Ensure that the job posting requirements for the 14-panel drug screen are met. The agency must run this entire panel within 24 hours of offer acceptance before candidates are uploaded. All new and returning agency staff must have completed training for onboarding and clearance from one of the approved groups. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures. Independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative are required to apply prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis. The candidate must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. The ability to obtain intravenous access is necessary. Candidates should prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Basic computer skills are necessary for this position. Any requested time off during this assignment must be noted and verified upon upload. No more than five days of time off will be accepted. The facility can cancel up to five shifts per 13-week contract with two hours' notice. Personal scrubs of any color are required, but no designs or cartoons, and no hoodies are allowed. The candidate must have their own vehicle, which is a firm requirement. The profile should include work history and a skills checklist pertinent to the position, current to one year. A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is also required. Licenses and certifications must be uploaded with the profile. The permanent address must match the driver's license/state ID. Travelers from specified counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments. Every third weekend will be required for this position.
