Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Travelers can earn up to $2,960 per week for this role. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 5x8: 9am - 5:30pm. /n - Accurately and thoroughly documents all care information in the facility’s EMR in a timely manner. /n /n - Prepares the operating room for procedures and assists in room breakdown post-operation. /n /n - Assists with patient positioning and ensures patient comfort and safety. /n /n - Handles specimens with care and accuracy. /n /n /n - /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. /n /n - Current RN license in the state of Connecticut. /n /n - 3 full years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty. /n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required. /n /n - Trauma experience is required. /n /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
