Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years current Pediatrics experience, Adult Medical Surgical experience preferred License: Massachusetts Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Current license and certifications - Dependable and reliable traveler - Must have own vehicle Description: This is a small pediatric unit with a maximum patient census of 3. There is no second nurse scheduled for the unit. Backup is available from other specialized staff. Nurses are equipped with a security badge and a panic button for immediate assistance. The pediatric care team understands the unique needs of children and adolescents. Family involvement in patient care is prioritized. "Rooming in" for parents is available during the hospital stay. Children have access to various in-room games, videos, and a playroom. Travelers must provide any requested time off during the assignment upon upload. No more than 3 days of requested time off will be accepted. Only dependable and reliable candidates will be considered for this position.
