Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Location: Utica, NY Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM ? Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Floating: Required Unit: Medical-Surgical (MS) Job Description: Seeking an experienced Med-Surg/Tele RN to provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients recovering from surgical procedures and managing acute medical conditions. The RN will work night shifts, float as needed, and utilize Epic EMR for documentation. Candidates must be comfortable with a fast-paced unit and adaptable to patient needs and unit assignments. Unit Details: Common Diagnoses: Post-surgical recovery, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, bariatric surgery/morbid obesity Equipment Used: IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes Patient Population: Adults only Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience Documented travel nursing experience Epic EMR proficiency 2 recent references from MS Charge/Manager RNs Active RN license (NY) and BLS certification - Medicaid - Vision - Dental - 401K “We are an equal opportunity employer.
