Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with expertise in cath lab and Epic EMR for a day shift contract. Responsibilities - Position located in a hospital cath lab setting - Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Patient population includes individuals requiring invasive cardiovascular procedures - Use of EPIC EMR is required - No blocked scheduling is allowed - Call outs exceeding three times in a 13-week period require make-up shifts and may result in contract termination - Travel pairs are not allowed - Competency testing may be required for certain units, with up to two attempts to pass - RTO (requests for time off) must be submitted with application - Candidates living in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible - Travelers may only apply to one position at a time Requirements - Minimum of 2 years recent experience in invasive cardiovascular technology - Active NYS license required at time of consideration (License required if applicable) - Certifications must be from AHA or RQI - Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates - No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - US Social Security Number required (no Canadian SIN accepted) - Flu vaccination required unless medical exemption is signed by a licensed professional Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-596266.
