WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Pediatric ICU Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay for this position is $2,300 a week. Job Function: - Day/Night Shift. - 3x12 EOW. - Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. - Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications. - Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs. - Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays. Initiates corrective action whenever the patient. Job Requirements: - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). - Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain). - 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
