WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a L&D Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay for this position is $2,400 a week. Job Function: - Day/Night Shift. - 3x12 EOW. - Monitor the mother’s vital signs, fetal heart rate, and overall labor progress, documenting all findings accurately. - Administer medications, IV fluids, and epidurals as ordered, and provide pain management support. - Assist physicians or midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. - Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor, birth, and recovery process. - Respond to obstetric emergencies and implement appropriate interventions to ensure the safety of both mother and baby.
