Job Description We are currently seeking both licensed Social Workers/Psychotherapists to join our growing practice. This is a virtual position, allowing you to set your own hours and work from the comfort of your private space. Referrals from a Waiting List Weekly supervision by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker HIPAA compliant video platform and Electronic Medical Record Software Responsibilities Therapists will provide counseling and psychotherapy to treat individuals facing emotional obstacles, relationship issues, and other behavioral challenges. They will adopt a systematic approach to addressing mental health and relationships, while also considering the ethical, developmental, and preventative issues involved in the treatment process. At My Therapy Place, we hold ourselves to the highest professional standards. Therapists must be skilled in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. All therapists should be able to apply multiple evidence-based theoretical orientations to meet the evolving needs of clients. We are particularly drawn to practitioners who are passionate about their work and who provide therapy within their areas of interest. We also encourage therapists to create and lead therapy groups. Therapists will: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized care plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address various behavioral health issues. Utilize diagnostic evaluation techniques to identify client challenges and appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients. Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services within the community. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations. Qualifications A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure is required. Experience in behavioral therapy and individual/group counseling is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and reporting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
