Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Progressive Critical Care Unit Nurse Location This position is located in a regional healthcare facility supportive of progressive critical care. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7A - 7:30P Job Description The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region. Responsibilities include the care of patients facing respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications. Nurses must have experience in managing high-acuity patients and be well-versed in advanced hemodynamics. Responsibilities Provide competent care for medical and surgical populations Utilize ACLS and advanced hemodynamic management protocols Administer medications including antihypertensive drips and sedatives Manage advanced respiratory support measures such as HFNC and BiPap/Cpap Implement infection prevention protocols and care standards Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Epic experience REQUIRED Nurses should have large-scale adult PCU and community hospital ICU experience Current ACLS certification is necessary Competency test is required within 24 hours of submission Why ARMStaffing?
