Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Albany, NY Agency: AMN Healthcare Pay: $2,162 to $2,296 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN) StartDate: 2/2/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2162.00 - $2296.00 “PCCU is designed to provide specialized care to the acute and chronically ill surgical and medical patient population 18 years of age and older and trauma patient population 15 years of age and older. Respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi system organ disfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, surgical complications, include some of our top DRGs. Nurses with large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience tend to do well in our area. Average patient load is 3 high acuity patients. Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, PCU Licenses: RN-NY Certifications: ACLS-AHA; BLS-AHA SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history Preferred Qualifications PCCN or CCRN strongly encouraged.
