Revolution Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Progressive Critical Care RN – New York Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Albany, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Full-time; average patient load of 3 high acuity patients Highlights: - Provide critical care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, and complex traumas - Work with advanced hemodynamics including pressor titration protocols, antihypertensive drips, sedation management, and thrombo-embolytics - Utilize Epic EMR system; Epic experience is required - Manage specialized equipment including arterial lines, central venous pressure monitoring, external ventricular drains, orthopedic traction, HFNC, BiPap/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems - Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission - Navy blue scrubs required Requirements: - Active RN license in New York State - Epic EMR experience required - ACLS certification required - Competency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions - Experience in adult Progressive Care Unit or community hospital ICU setting preferred - Proficiency in caring for both medical and surgical patient populations - Candidates from certain local counties are not eligible for this position Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity Progressive Critical Care Unit serving some of the most complex patients in the region.
