Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Progressive Critical Care Unit RN – New York Start Date: December 22, 2025 Location: Albany, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Average patient load of 3 high acuity patients Highlights: - Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, and complex traumas - Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide - Advanced hemodynamics including pressor titration protocols, antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics - Experience with specialized monitoring and interventions: arterial lines, CVP, EVD, orthopedic traction, HFNC, BiPap/Cpap - Navy blue scrubs required - Competency testing required within 24 hours of submission via email Requirements: - Epic EMR experience required - ACLS certification required - Competency in care of medical and surgical populations - Experience with advanced hemodynamics and critical care protocols - Large-scale adult PCU experience or community hospital ICU experience strongly preferred - Active New York RN license (local candidates from certain counties may not be eligible) Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated team providing exceptional care to the region's most critically ill patients in a progressive critical care environment.
