Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Computed Tomography (CT Scan) Technologist Location New York State Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Monday-Thursday, 12:30pm - 11pm (no on-call responsibilities) Job Description The Computed Tomography (CT scan) Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The technologist creates diagnostic images utilizing their specific modality while providing patients with a safe and positive experience. They support teaching and continue learning as technology evolves. Responsibilities - Perform CT exams on outpatients and inpatients, including stable and intensive care patients. - Conduct trauma and emergency room scanning as required. - Assist in specialized CT scan-guided procedures. - Enforce radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health code part 16. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate. - New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in New York. - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
