Navy blue scrubs required Description: The nurses in our
Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically
delicate and surgically complex patients in our region. Common
conditions include respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head
injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders,
complex traumas, and surgical complications. Candidates must be
competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, ACLS,
and advanced hemodynamics, including pressor usage as per titration
protocols. Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and
Narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, as well as a line, CVP, EVD,
ortho traction, and infection prevention protocols is required.
Knowledge of HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent is essential. Nurses
with large-scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU
experience typically perform well in this environment. The average
patient load is 3 high acuity patients. A competency test is
required within a specified timeframe upon submission. 5 Benefits
