This role offers a day-shift schedule , manageable patient census, and a supportive inpatient care environment. Ideal for physicians seeking consistent locum coverage with competitive hourly compensation. Assignment Details Schedule: 12-hour day shifts Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Coverage Model: Admitting and/or rounding Patient Census: Average 18–20 patients per day ICU: Closed EMR System: Cerner Start: ASAP (ongoing need) Compensation Hourly Rate: $205–$215 per hour Additional Rate Types: Orientation, Holiday, Conversion Fee (if applicable) Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality inpatient hospitalist care Admit, round, and manage adult medical patients Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and care teams Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Deliver efficient, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols Submission Requirements Current, up-to-date CV (including locum history) Provider contact information Availability details NPI and/or license number Malpractice and/or background history References (if available) Scope of services (if applicable) Requirements Required Qualifications (HIGHLIGHTED) Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – REQUIRED Active New York Medical License at time of submission – REQUIRED BLS and ACLS Certifications – REQUIRED Ability to cover assigned shifts and dates – REQUIRED Provider must reside more than 75 miles from the facility – REQUIRED Self-Query NPDB Report (pulled within the same month of submission) – REQUIRED Benefits Benefits ??
