Neuro-Oncologist Opportunity in Hartford, CTSpecialty: Neuro-Oncology Location: Hartford, CT Job Type: Permanent Details: Join a robust, multidisciplinary team including 2 APRNs, RN, Nurse Navigator, Medical Assistants, and dedicated research nurse Collaborate with the Director of Neuro-Oncology to develop innovative treatment and research programs Provide comprehensive care for patients with primary and secondary CNS neoplasms and neurologic complications of cancer Participate in clinical trials and collaborative research with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, and NRG Oncology System-wide integration with over 220 providers in 22 subspecialties in neurology and neurosurgery Clinical base at one hospital with involvement in research, program development, and quality initiatives system-wide Requirements: MD or DO degree Board certified or board eligible in Neurology UCNS board eligible/certified in Neuro-Oncology Practice Highlights: Access to a dedicated phase 1 research unit for early drug development Participation in weekly tumor boards and educational symposiums in collaboration with MSK Cancer Institute includes over 40 medical oncologists and 17 radiation oncologists Annual volume includes over 100 primary brain cancers and 100 spinal/peripheral neurologic tumors Compensation and Benefits: Competitive compensation with incentive structure Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage Generous CME support, paid time off, and retirement plan with employer match Sign-on and relocation assistance available About the System: Hartford HealthCare includes 7 hospitals and more than 400 practice locations across CT One of the largest, physician-led, multispecialty medical groups in New England Culture of innovation, inclusion, and high-quality care Location Highlights: Hartford, CT offers easy access to both Boston and New York City Excellent schools, four-season outdoor recreation, and a choice of coastal, urban, or suburban living
