Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Northern New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend coverage (2 weekends per 4-week schedule period) Highlights: Combined adult and pediatric emergency department at a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center Patient ratio of 1:5 with 24-hour orientation provided Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management Diverse case mix including trauma, stroke, neuro, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies Strong interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and phlebotomy Opportunity to work with all age groups from neonates to geriatrics Requirements: Active New York RN license required prior to submission Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Epic charting experience is required Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line management, IV therapy, and procedural sedation Experience with trauma patients, stroke protocols, ventilated patients, and multisystem organ dysfunction Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to expand your emergency nursing skills in a dynamic environment that serves patients across the entire lifespan.
