Job Description:
Joining Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse II within our
Critical Care Float Pool offers a unique opportunity to deliver

provide critical care in multiple specialties, reflecting our

highest standards of healthcare. Provide comprehensive nursing care
to critically ill patients in multiple ICU settings. Monitor
patient conditions continuously, responding with appropriate
interventions. Administer medications and treatments accurately as
prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan,
evaluate, and optimize patient care. Educate patients and families
about health conditions and treatment plans. Participate in
professional development and training to stay current in the field.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Advanced
skills in patient assessment and critical care nursing practices.
Ability to operate complex medical equipment. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills. Capability to manage multiple patient
care priorities. Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS
certification (Basic Life Support). ACLS certification (Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support).
