Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Albany, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,163 per week Shift Information: 3 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albany, New York, 12208! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Colon & Rectal Surgery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active RN License Required Certifications: Epic Experience Required Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of experience required at a 600 bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score - 2 years of experience, no testing required - Competency test required within 24 hours of submission Description: Post-surgical setting caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. Work closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs. Care for post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines. No block schedule or requests for 48-hour shifts. Candidates must have Epic experience. Local candidates are not being accepted for this position. Navy blue scrubs are required. This position may float to other units as necessary. The facility has over 600 beds.
