Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,400 Position Overview NurseAmerica is
seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night-shift
travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role is ideal for critical
care nurses with strong cardiac, neuro, and trauma ICU experience
who are comfortable working in a high-acuity environment. Unit
Details Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Total Beds: 42
Neuro/Medical ICU: 22 beds CTICU: 6 beds Surgical/Trauma ICU: 14
beds Floating: Required as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and
Emergency Department unless holding) Scrub Color: Navy Patient
Population & Diagnoses Neuro/Medical ICU: Stroke, sepsis, altered
mental status, neuro interventions (TCAR), respiratory failure,
CHF, post-STEMI CTICU: Cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock,
AAA Surgical/Trauma ICU: Trauma and major post-operative cases
Required Skills & Equipment CRRT experience required (Prismaflex or
NxStage) Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred Experience with:
IABP Ventriculostomy ICP monitoring Targeted Temperature Management
(Arctic Sun) Requirements Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
(ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, or MS ICU) Active New
York RN License AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications Epic EMR
experience Previous charge nurse experience preferred 5 Benefits of
