The facility maintains full census capacity and provides comprehensive adult psychiatric services. History and physicals are conducted by medical doctors and nurse practitioners, allowing the psychiatrist to focus on specialized psychiatric care. About the Clinician's Workday The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional weekend coverage 1-2 times per month. Daily responsibilities include rounding on approximately 12 adult psychiatric patients and managing 4 new admissions. Board certification in psychiatry is required, and the position operates within a collaborative 12-physician group practice. The facility maintains a full census across 85 beds with an average length of stay of 14 days.
