Location: Glens Falls, NY Assignment: 13 Weeks | Night 5x10-Hour Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Pay Package Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $658.00 Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $2,040.00 Weekly Overtime Pay (Taxable) $0.00 Weekly Gross $2,698.00 Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting safety, dignity, and optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Monitor patient condition and document changes accurately Operate and monitor medical equipment as required Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and safety standards Maintain accurate and timely medical records Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions Requirements Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required BSN preferred (depending on facility requirements) Licensure Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Compact license preferred (if applicable) Experience Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred Specialty experience required for certain departments (e.g., ICU, ER, OR, Labor & Delivery) Certifications Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or other specialty certifications as applicable Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Compassionate, patient-centered approach Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Work Environment Hospital, clinic, long-term care facility, or specialty unit setting May require standing for extended periods Ability to lift and move patients as necessary Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits (Varies by employer) Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan (401k) Paid time off (PTO) Continuing education assistance Professional development opportunities Apply now to start your next travel adventure!
