Porter Medical Center, a proud member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our dedicated healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals across various departments to deliver high-quality care and support to patients. As an LNA at Porter Medical Center, you will contribute to care plans, assist with medical procedures, and ensure the comfort and safety of patients in our state-of-the-art facility. Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting assistance. Record vital signs, such as temperature and blood pressure, and report any changes in patient conditions. Assist with patient mobility, including helping with transfers and walking. Support the nursing staff with the setup and operation of medical equipment. Participate in patient assessments and contribute to the care planning process. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients. Ensure all patient interactions are documented in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Skill in performing basic clinical tasks such as measuring vital signs. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Must have a current Vermont State LNA Certification. CPR certification is required.
