opportunity to apply your expertise in a Progressive Care Unit
(PCU)/Stepdown environment within a large hospital setting. The
role requires a registered nurse who is experienced in managing
patients needing a higher level of care than general
medical-surgical floors but not requiring intensive care. This
contract opportunity is located in Albany, GA, with a strict
75-mile radius rule, meaning candidates must reside within 75 miles
of the facility as confirmed by the address on their driver's
license. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 full years working specifically in
a PCU/Stepdown unit within a large hospital setting. At least one
successfully completed travel assignment; no first-time travelers
will be considered. Ability to assess, monitor, and deliver nursing
care to patients requiring intermediate-level care.
Responsibilities: Monitor patient status, interpret clinical
information, and provide direct nursing care. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient
care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to
protocols. Educate patients and families regarding care and
discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and thorough
