Job Description Gynecology Surgery opening near Albany, NYLocated in Schenectady, NY - Albany 20mFull-time; PermanentSeeking BC/BEOverview: Seeking a full-time skilled GYN surgeon to become the third member of our practice. Hospital-employed role offering a supportive environment. Flexible schedule Founding physician has transitioned to a Chief Medical Officer role, creating a unique opportunity for growth. Consultative only: Focus exclusively on surgical consultations with no annual or routine visits. High volume: Practice growth has created the need for an additional surgeon to support an extensive referral base covering a large geographic area. Fertility and reproductive surgery: Work closely with local reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) specialists. Procedures include resection of deeply infiltrating endometriosis, complex myomectomies, tubal microsurgery, and metroplasty. Flexible schedule with options for full-time or part-time positions. Office-based responsibilities 1–2 days per week. Limited call coverage restricted to established surgical patients only. Excellent resources with experienced PAs and strong support staff in both office and OR settings. Ample OR time with significant block availability, including robotic surgery options 1–2 days per week. Hospital privileges available at four area hospitals, three of which provide robust Da Vinci support. Educational opportunities available, including optional involvement in resident education and research based on interest. Collaborative environment working alongside specialists in minimally invasive urology, colorectal surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and gynecologic oncology. Position Offers: Starting salary range of $405,000–$430,000, reflecting starting total compensation and excluding productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, and other applicable cash compensation. CME allowance and additional benefits typically provided by the medical group employer. Salary range provided in accordance with State law and subject to variation based on applicable factors.
