Job Description:
Join the forefront of patient care at Albany Medical Center as a
Clinical Nurse III in our Neuro Progressive Care unit. This role
caters to patients recovering from neurosurgical procedures,
providing specialized nursing care with a focus on enhancing
patient recovery and supporting transition to less intensive care.
As part of our dedicated team, you'll work in an innovative
environment where education, research, and advanced medical
practices converge to deliver exceptional care outcomes. Provide
comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Neuro Progressive
Care Unit. Monitor patient responses to treatment, adjusting care
plans as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
facilitate effective patient recovery. Educate patients and their
families on treatment plans and recovery processes. Contribute to
research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing patient
care. Advanced nursing skills in neurology and post-operative care.
Strong ability to operate medical equipment relevant to neuro
progressive care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment.

401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Certification in Neurological Nursing (CNRN) or Progressive Care
Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred.
