The Clinical Nurse II will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients undergoing general surgery. Administer and manage nursing care for trauma patients following established standards and practices. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Participate in educational programs to maintain competencies and support a professional practice environment. Respond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, and procedures. Provide input in the planning and implementation of departmental strategies and operations. Proven ability to provide critical care Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Capability in handling high-stress situations Proficient with medical software systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the New York State Board of Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
