This position is designed for a skilled nurse who thrives in high-pressure environments and is committed to delivering top-quality patient care during night shifts. The role demands clinical expertise, excellent patient interaction skills, and a robust capability to work effectively under pressure. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department. Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement nursing care plans. Maintain medical records and administer medications and treatments. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment. Act as a patient advocate and maintain patient confidentiality. Ability to handle high stress environments. Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on acute care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of New York. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
