Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system committed to

seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II for our General
Medical/Surgical Unit. This position offers the opportunity to work
in a dynamic environment with a team that is deeply committed to
delivering the highest quality of care to our patients. As a
Clinical Nurse II, you will play a crucial role in managing patient
care and ensuring the optimal functioning of the unit. Assess
patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing
care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care
to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise
patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide
case management Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in
patients’ conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and
records. Interpret patient information and make critical decisions
about needed actions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team
members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical and medical
patients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic medical record systems. Capability to
work effectively in a high-stress environment. Strong
problem-solving skills and analytical abilities. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
desired.
