Job Description:
Albany Medical Center seeks a dedicated and compassionate
Clinical Nurse II to join our E3/C3E General Medical/Surgical team.
This role is pivotal in providing top-tier care and support to a
diverse patient population. The Clinical Nurse II will work in a

will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure

comprehensive nursing care to patients in a general
medical/surgical setting. Monitor patient conditions continuously
and respond to changes in status promptly. Administer medications
accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with healthcare
regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across
departments to formulate interdisciplinary care plans. Educate
patients and their families on managing illnesses and post-hospital
treatment. Participate in ongoing education and training to remain
current with the latest medical procedures and research. Strong
clinical judgment and decision-making skills Proficient in handling
medical/surgical equipment Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
environment Knowledge of electronic health record systems Medical

Valid RN license in the state of employment BLS certification
(American Heart Association) ACLS certification preferred
