Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system renowned for
our academic hospital and medical college, is seeking a dedicated
Clinical Nurse II for our D2E Critical Care Unit. This role is
pivotal in delivering exceptional care to critically ill patients,
ensuring adherence to the latest guidelines and medical practices
while fostering a compassionate environment. The successful
candidate will be deeply committed to nurturing a team-oriented
atmosphere that reflects our cutting-edge healthcare standards.
Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill
patients in the D2E CCU. Collaborate with interdisciplinary
healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-care plans.
Engage in continuous education to remain abreast of industry
developments and new technologies in critical care. Monitor patient
conditions continuously and respond with appropriate interventions.
Guide and support families through critical care processes and
patient progress. Expertise in ICU or CCU nursing practices.
Ability to operate complex medical machinery. Strong communication
and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and quick
decision-making abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. Certification in Critical Care Nursing
(CCRN) preferred.
