Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II
in the Medicine department to join our forward-thinking healthcare
team. This role involves providing top-tier patient care,
supporting medical education, and engaging in clinical research.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team at a center
combining a leading hospital and medical college known for its
commitment to innovative healthcare and patient-centered service.
Administer medications and treatments to patients following
physician orders, Monitor and record patient progress and responses
to treatments. Educate patients and their families on disease
prevention and health promotion. Collaborate with medical teams to
initiate patient treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records
and ensure data privacy. Participate in research and clinical
trials as required. Support a clean and safe healthcare
environment. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make
decisions in high-pressure environments. Proficient in electronic
health record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of disease management and
patient education. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
