As a Clinical Nurse II on our Rehabilitation unit (E8), you will provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, helping them return to optimal functioning. This role involves night shifts with 36 hours per week, ensuring high-quality patient care continuity in a challenging, supportive environment. You'll be part of a dynamic healthcare team that values collaborative interactions and a dedication to excellence in patient outcomes. Assess patient condition and implement clinical nursing interventions. Develop and evaluate nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team. Deliver patient and family-focused care and education with an emphasis on rehabilitation. Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Ensure operation of medical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Guide and support junior nursing staff, promoting a learning environment. Strong clinical skills with a focus on rehabilitative care Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Proficient in using healthcare informatics and medical equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of New York BLS/ACLS certification Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) preferred but not required
