Job Description:
Albany Medical Center seeks a qualified and dedicated Clinical
Nurse III: E8 to join our engaged team of healthcare professionals.
This role involves providing advanced nursing care to patients with
varying medical conditions while supporting both our educational
and research missions. As a Clinical Nurse III: E8, you will work
closely with healthcare providers to deliver patient care that

patient care. Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a
specialized unit Assess patient health problems and needs,
developing and implementing nursing care plans Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and records Monitor, record, and report symptoms
and changes in patients' conditions Consult and coordinate with
healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate
patient care plans Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by
patients' responses and conditions Prepare patients for, and assist
with, examinations or treatments Instruct individuals, families, or
other groups on topics such as health education, disease
prevention, and childbirth, and develop health improvement programs
Advanced patient assessment skills Proficiency in clinical skills
with the ability to handle severe cases Strong organizational and
communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part
of a team Capability to manage stress and react effectively in
emergency situations Emotional resilience and stamina to deal with
challenging situations Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current
registered nurse licensure in the state of employment BLS/ACLS
Certification Preferably certified in a specialized area of nursing
appropriate to the role
