Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate
Clinical Nurse II to join our E3 Medical/Surgical Hospitalist team.
This full-time, day shift position plays a critical role in
providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients with a
variety of medical and surgical conditions. Our ideal candidate is

development. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with
established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare
organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as
appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Administer
prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor
vital signs. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines
for well-coordinated patient care. Interact with patients to
explain procedures, alleviate fears and ensure patient cooperation
and satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of medical conditions and
treatments and assess major developments in the field of nursing
and patient care. Proficient in clinical skills applicable to
nursing specialty (medical/surgical care) Ability to make quick and
accurate assessments of patient conditions Effective communication
skills, both verbal and written Experience with electronic medical
record systems Capacity to handle stress effectively and work
efficiently during emergencies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
